YOU MAY WANT TO START LOOKING FOR TEEN LEADERS FIRST, BECAUSE ADULT GROUPS CAN THEORETICALLY TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES IF THE LEADER FALLS SHORT, SO THE TEENS NEED THE STRONGER LEADERS ... USUALLY, THE YOUNGER TEENS ARE 13 THROUGH 15 YR-OLDS [THE 15S GRUMBLE ABOUT THAT BUT THE YOUNGERS REALLY NEED THEIR MENTORSHIP] ...
THE OLDER TEENS ARE 16S, 17S, UNGRADUATED 18S, AND ANY GRADUATED 18S AND 19S WHO PREFER A TEEN GROUP TO AN ADULT GROUP ... FOR OLDER TEENS AIM FOR GROUPS OF 6 TO 8 [INCLUDING THE LEADERS], AND FOR YOUNGER TEENS, GROUPS OF 7 TO 9 ... FEWER TENDS TO BE DIFFICULT BECAUSE THERE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH MEMBERS WILLING TO SHARE, AND MORE THAN THAT MAKES IT HARD TO FIT THE SHARING INTO THE ALLOTTED TIME ...
