Year-round momdir works with PopDir to provide leadership throughout the year. Call meetings and keep communication open with other year-round staff and the getting-ready-gang to help them come to a consensus on staffing, communications, theme choices, policies, etc. Make sure that what needs to be done to prepare for the next Laurel is being done and that the previous year has been wrapped up satisfactorily...write a blurb for the "big" mailing...keep in mind that the flow of the planning and policies are tending in the direction of the overall philosophies in the unwritten charter of Laurel.
